Jonathan Ward - Awarded Individual Chartered Status Of The CIoH

PGPA Member Jonathan Ward of Ginger Horticulture has been a member of The Chartered Institute Of Horticulture for 5 years. Through his many years work as one of the horticulture industry's most creative photographic visionaries, he has just been awarded individual chartered status, an opportunity which has only been available for two years.  

Chartered status stands for the highest standards of professionalism, up-to-date expertise, quality and safety, and for capacity to exercise leadership and undertake independent practice. In a profession as dynamic as horticulture, the best never stand still.  Similarly, the requirements for attaining and maintaining chartered status have advanced considerably since their introduction and are kept under continuous review.  Chartered horticulturalists are at the leading edge of their field.  

The Chartered Institute of Horticulture is the authoritative organisation representing those professionally engaged in horticulture in the UK and Ireland.  It's membership comprises of those that are involved in amenity horticulture, parks, landscaping, botanic/heritage gardens, and the full range of horticulture within leisure industries as well as those producing, managing, growing and marketing all edible and decorative horticultural crops, allied research, education and consultancy. It also includes those working in associated supply industries and students taking their first steps into horticulture.
